Over 1 Million REOs in 2010
U.S. mortgages that became real-estate-owned during December came in 4 percent higher than in November, RealtyTrac reported. Last month’s activity helped push REOs for the whole year to around 1,050,545. RealtyTrac previously reported data indicated that full-year 2009 REOs totaled 884,052.
